Analytical Technology Expert (m/f/d)

Main activities and responsibilities:

The Analytical Technology Expert is the leading subject matter expert for analytical development and technology for the CordenPharma Group:

  • >>  Provide expert consultancy and advice to all CordenPharma sites on complex analytical topics
  • >>  Establish an analytical development expert community over all CordenPharma sites to facilitate knowledge transfer and best practice sharing
  • >>  Engage with industry experts, universities and equipment providers in the relevant fields to monitor emerging developments in analytical technologies
  • >>  Support and advise the CordenPharma digitalization project and drive the increasing adoption of PAT and online analytics
  • >>  Recommend, detail and implement new approaches and technologies in analytical development, including preparation of business cases
  • >>  Interface with QC SMEs to support them in the transfer of new analytical technologies into the GMP area
  • >>  Harmonize development and validation strategy of analytical methods
  • >>  Support the global PMO in continuous improvement of analytical method transfer.


  • >>  Masters or PhD in chemistry or pharmaceuticals
  • >>  Advanced experience in analytical science
  • >>  Deep technical expertise in a broad variety of analytical technologies
  • >>  Excellent understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical environment
  • >>  Experience of several years in analytical science within the pharmaceutical industry
  • >>  Demonstrated ability as a leader and influencer within a wider organization
  • >>  Track record of success in improvement and transformation of projects
  • >>  Experience of automation and digitalization topics within analytical science
  • >>  Excellent communicator, able to clearly articulate complex concepts within an expert community and summarize in an accessible way for non-expert stakeholders
  • >>  Relationship builder, who can draw together diverse groups with competing priorities around a common goal
  • >>  Basic understanding of finance in regards to costing, efficiency and investment return
