Coordinates receipt of materials including bulk solvents and removal of bulk solvent waste in tankers on the Corden Pharma Colorado site. Works with production to manage the timely delivery of material to the production areas using electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials. Incumbent is responsible for tanker unloading/loading, moving raw materials, finished products, inventory transactions and warehouse activities that support Manufacturing and the general infrastructure of the plant-site areas by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be

  • >>  Loads and unloads bulk solvent and bulk waste tankers.
  • >>  Loads and unloads materials onto or off of trucks.
  • >>  Verify quantity and quality of stock received from manufacturers. Responsible for accurate inventory transaction in SAP.
  • >>  Responsible for receiving, handling and deliveries of all essential raw materials to manufacturing.
  • >>  Coordinates warehouse dock, unloading and loading trucks, MR’s and Incident Reporting as needed.
  • >>  Informs purchasing of damaged goods and late deliveries.
  • >>  Responsible for assuring the warehouse and bulk solvent deliveries complies with GMP and OSHA regulations.
  • >>  Drives fork lift and controls movement of lifting apparatus in deliveries of raw materials and analytical solvents to Manufacturing, Pilot Plant and customers.
  • >>  Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags and labels.
  • >>  Responsible for fork truck maintenance activities.
  • >>  Responsible for properly managing the generation and accumulation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
  • >>  Assist with sampling raw materials, receiving and preparation of outgoing shipments as needed.
  • >>  Must be willing to work 12 hour shifts, including weekends and nights.
  • >>  Additionally, as part of the Materials team this position serves as a back up to other positions and responsible for other duties as assigned.


This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

High school diploma and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


DOT/IATA certification.
