Role

To reinforce our Process Development & Scale up department, we are looking for an Analytical Lab Technician. In this role, you will conduct laboratory tests in method development, qualification and validation mainly in (U)HPLC/GC on raw materials, intermediates and finished products (active ingredients).

Duties and responsibilities

  • >> Perform GC/LC, GC-headspace, LC/MS, IC, TLC, Potentiometry, IR and Karl-Fisher analyses
  • >> Interpret and synthesize the resulting experimental data and communicate them clearly and concisely (Reports, PowerPoint)
  • >> Integrate cGMP and traceability aspects into the work
  • >> Participate in the transfer of analytical methods to the QC department
  • >> Maintain the analytical development laboratory’s equipment

Qualifications and skills

  • >> Bachelor in Chemistry – or equivalent
  • >> Previous experience in analytical chemistry in a GMP environment is a plus
  • >> Knowledge of HPLC, GC, MS
  • >> Experience on Agilent and Waters analytical equipment is an asset
  • >> Good command of OpenLab, Chemstation and Empower software
  • >> Ability to work independently in a fast paced multitasking environment.
  • >> Rigorous with excellent organization and coordination skills.
  • >> Strong customer oriented-mindset.
  • >> Flexible, able to set priorities and solution oriented.
  • >> Team spirit and ability to work in an interdisciplinary and international environment.
  • >> Strong oral & written communication skills (French, able to understand English).
  • >> Excellent command of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
