IT Project, Systems & Infrastructure Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The role guides the strategic decisions to empower the site IT area, supporting its growth, promoting the proper development of the IT architecture and solutions to improve business and industrial processes through technological innovation, in order to reach the Group targets.

He/she acts as a player-coach, actively working with the IT team members to prevent and solve IT related problems and coordinating internal and external resources when required.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • >> Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
  • >> Manage and participate, as an internal Project Manager, in the supervision of development projects Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
  • >> Support the automation engineering area to develop industrial system solutions, (MES, DCS…) and to implement 4.0 and IOT projects.
  • >> Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs also providing support to key-users
  • >> Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
  • >> Coordinate evolutionary development, service management and application maintenance activities
  • >> Guarantee compliance and IT security principles
  • >> Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • >> Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or comparable qualification
  • >> Experience of at least 5 years gained in industrial companies in leading local IT area or in consulting firms
  • >> Dynamic and able to think innovatively
  • >> Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • >> Decision making skill
  • >> Hands on approach and “can do” attitude
  • >> Ability to prioritize tasks: able to manage different tasks with the appropriate level of priority.
  • >> Manage complex and multiple projects (definition and development of planning and monitoring of activities)
  • >> Able to communicate in a compelling and structured way
  • >> Fluent English
